For our Leipzig office and in close cooperation with our colleagues from our parent company SWISS TIMING located in Switzerland, we are looking for a

Software Test Engineer (m/f/d)

You will be in charge of the review of software requirements and use cases. Creation of test cases, as well as providing support in the writing of test cases to internal resources and external consultants will be an important task. You will run tests during various R&D stages (functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, automation tests) and suggest continuous testing process improvement, including test case evolution. You will execute test cases, record and document results, compare them to expected results. Defects logging during the test execution phase will be required, as well as reporting test results to your Test Lead. You will maintain the test cases library in Team Foundation Server Microsoft Test Manager (DevOps).

Professional requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Ideally, you gathered 3+ years of software testing experience
  • You have a good understanding of quality assurance life cycle, methodologies and best practices
  • You have experience with Agile methodology (SCRUM)
  • You have the knowledge of various test environment setups
  • Fundamental understanding of software languages (C#, scripting) and test automation tools is a plus
  • You are familiar with the Microsoft Office suite 
  • You have experience with the Microsoft Team Foundation Server (DevOps)
  • You have very good written and oral skills in English (C1-work is performed in English)


  • Good written and oral skills in German 
  • ISTQB certification (Foundation Level)
