Software Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Job description

You will be in charge of the review of software requirements and use cases, for the biggest international sports events, like Olympic Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth games or World Cups (alpine ski, equestrian, swimming and many more).

Creation of test cases, as well as providing support in the writing of test cases to internal resources and external consultants will be an important task. You will run tests during various R&D stages (functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, automation tests) and suggest continuous testing process improvement, including test case evolution.

You will execute test cases, record and document results, compare them to expected results. Defects logging during the test execution phase will be required, as well as reporting test results to your Test Lead. You will maintain the test cases library in Team Foundation Server Microsoft Test Manager (DevOps). 


You hold a Bachelor in computer science or equivalent degree and you ideally have 3+ years of software testing experience. Fundamental understanding of software languages (C#, scripting) and test automation, as well an active ISTQB certification (Foundation Level), would be an asset.

You have working knowledge in Agile methodology (SCRUM) and a good understanding of quality assurance life cycle, methodologies and best practices. You are a regular user of Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (DevOps).

You have an interest in the sport domain and an understanding of the characteristics of the sport business, while previous experience in sport events or competitions will be an advantage.

Service and solutions oriented, open minded and great team player, you demonstrate strong communication and social skills, especially diplomacy and advocacy. Self-organized and autonomous, you are able to prioritize according to deadlines and to take initiative.

Stress resistant and resilient, you are flexible and available to travel regularly to Corgémont (CH) and internationally to competitions (20%). 

Professional requirements

  • 3+ years of software testing experience
  • Knowledge in Agile methodology (SCRUM) and a good understanding of quality assurance life cycle, methodologies and best practices
  • Understanding of the sports industry and sports technology


  • Fluent in English
  • German knowledge would be a plus
